Forefoot
1. Obtain three-plain scannogram
2. Prescribe coronal (or short axis or "cucumber slices") T1 and T2. Some scanners name this sequence "axial." However, although it is trans-axial to the foot, it is really coronal to the body.
3. Prescribe axial T2 non-fs at the level of the MTP joints as white line above.
4. Sagittal T1 and IR should be prescribed as yellow line above.
