Pubalgia Protocol

Background Information:

1. Apply to cases of pubalgia or "sports hernia".

2. "Sports hernia" may actually be an avulsion of the aponeurotic plaque formed by the distal tendon of the rectus abdominis and the proximal tendon of the adductor longus, which is normally attached to the ventral aspect of the pubis. An imbalance of forces between the torso and the thigh may be involved in the pathogenesis of this entity.
